Chalúpkovo is situated at the edge of Low Tatras in the village of Liptovská Štiavnica, close to the town of Ružomberok (5 km), Ski Park Malinô Brdo (7 km), Thermal Park Bešeňová (11 km) and folk architecture reservation Vlkolínec (8 km) registered by UNESCO.
